Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.  Proverbs 9:9

The Elisha Project

An Introduction

Our Purpose...

...to edify the church...

...by providing quality Bible education...

...in areas of the world...

...where Bible training is difficult or impossible to obtain.

Our Method...

...450+ digitally recorded Bible Classes...

...with individual text lessons...

...using state of the art video equipment...

...and placed in established, Bible-believing churches on the mission field.

Our Founders...

Charles and Karen Carver

The Carvers’ are conference speakers and educators.  Charles is the pastor of New Hope Baptist Church and founding chancellor of New Hope Bible College. Karen directs the Women’s Ministries of NHBC and is the Chief Financial Officer of New Hope Bible College. Together, they have traveled to more than 30 countries. Most of those journeys involved training nationals to reach their own people for Christ.

Our Burden...

In many countries there is little or no Bible education available to God’s people. Churches must depend on leaders and teachers who are lacking in the much needed training to meet the needs of believers.

The estimated cost of bringing a foreign national to America and educating him in the things of God is between $35,000 and $45,000. The cost of placing one complete Elisha Project Bible Training Center in a Bible-believing church on the mission field is only $7,500. Not only resulting in a tremendous savings of God’s money but making it possible for an American church to completely finance a Bible Training Center with limitless possibilities for Spiritual impact.
