New Hope Baptist Church is located at 1911 Old Rural Hall Road in Winston-Salem, North
Carolina. The church was founded in September, 1937 from a tent meeting held by the late
Dr. N. A Thompson. Dr. Thompson and the late Dr. Charles H. Stevens, founder of Piedmont
Bible College, joined together to help the congregation form New Hope Baptist Church.
